Palma de Mallorca…

Time for a quick trip into Spain and a stay at the largest of the Baleiric islands, Mallorca (also known as Majorca).

We stayed in Palma, the capital city, right by the marina. I wasn’t sure what to expect coming here but we were pleasantly surprised. Mallorca has everything you need from a European adventure, great weather, beautiful beaches, history, sites, amazing food and if you have little ones, it is amazingly kid friendly.

There is literally so much to do we tried our best to fit it all in, even hiring a car so that we could drive to the beautiful town of Soller.

I would recommend eating at Piex Vermell for some authentic paella and Ombu for some amazing tapas and a great vibe.

Head down to the marina to watch the boats go by, grab a rose ice cream at Amorino and wander the cobbled streets late at night.

Visit La Seu, the amazing cathedral in the heart of Palma and make sure you visit some of the beautiful beaches the island has to offer. There is so much to do here you definitely won’t get bored…
